Advanced data importing - As well as importing QIF bank statements, MoneyWorks has very powerful and flexible data importing facilities for importing transactions, job/time sheets, new or updated customers, products or jobs.
- Define import maps to map your source data into the MoneyWorks database. You can even calculate values on the fly.
- Importing can be accessed from external scripts.
- You can even duplicate swathes of data by simply copying and pasting records. When you paste them back in, you can use the import setup to adjust the data (perhaps add a month to the dates).
Exporting too

Find Related gives you a really easy way to access really powerful relational database capabilities. - "Contains" search. The Find command lets you search text fields for a word anywhere in the field.
- Advanced Find by formula: Need to find all products where the sell price is less than 20% more than the buy price? How about all customers whose delivery address is different from their mailing address? Debtors whose 60 day balance is more than half their total balance? All easy using the Advanced Find in MoneyWorks Gold.
- Batch Replace Easily set the value of a field for a selection of records. Need to set a category field for 3000 products? Do it in seconds with the Replace command. MoneyWorks Gold even comes with an Advanced Replace flavour that allows you to fill fields using a formula. Easily increase prices for products by a percentage. Copy values from one field to another. Foreign Currency Accounting MoneyWorks Gold and MoneyWorks Datacentre facilitate the easy set up of Accounts Payable and Accounts receivable sub-ledgers in a multitude of foreign currencies.
